14 female founded companies you should know about!

14 female founded companies you should know about!

We love women that are taking the world by storm.

We love the ones that take a leap of faith in trying to create something new and disrupt their industry.

We love supporting founders/entrepreneurs, so here are a couple that we adore, and swear by!

In the fashion category, we want to highlight:

  • Les Izmoor - Ines Bourgeois is on a mission to create value by proposing mindful garments through a made-to-order model that reduces waste. Les Izmoor (pronounced Less Is More) stands for the idea of producing less but in a more thoughtful way.
  • Attire the Studio - Xenia Adonts is taking a stand on timeless and sustainable fashion by creating her brand in 2019. Her clothes are made to make you feel powerful.
  • Rixo - Henrietta & Orlagh crafted a collection of hand-painted prints, premium materials and vintage-inspired silhouettes, with a mission to dress their clients to feel their very best, in pieces they'll treasure for years to come.
  • Sheerluxe - Georgie Coleridge Cole is the one behind this online magazine for women fashion and lifestyle.

In the beauty category, we want to highlight:

    • intacte - Olivia Bally and Gabrielle Flipo bonded over their love for beauty products and noticing how unsustainable that industry is. They are taking up an amazing challenge: giving you the opportunity to access quality products at affordable prices while doing something good for the planet.
    • Gisou - Negin Mirsalehi has always been known for her fabulous hair, and that is what her business is all about. Help you get the healthiest hair by using honey oils. A favorite of ours!
    • Summer Fridays - Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland started off as beauty influencers created a line of products that ticks all the boxes: easy-to-use, clean ingredients, immediately satisfying, and so pretty you'd want them on display.

In the wellness/food category, we want to highlight:

    • Deliciously Ella - Ella Woodward wanted to help people live better, to be useful to her community, and to grow together with them through her cookbooks, restaurants and by building the world’s leading plant-based platform
    • seven brussels - Sasha Litvine and Kenya Hoet took over the Brussels food scene with this stylish and yummy healthy coffee place. A must if you go, especially given that you will find the Nuccy Glow there ;)
    • Re Place - Ania created Re Place to level up their clients wellness & fitness journey, dedicated to enhancing not just their body recovery after a workout, but how they feel – inside and out! They were also the firsts to stock Nuccy so they hold a very special in our heart!
    • Rubby - Venetia Archer founded London's first digital beauty concierge, offering five star beauty services to private clients, corporates, hotel groups, and luxury concierge services. A fun app to use to feel pretty and ready to go!

In the "doing good for good" category, we highlight:

    • Rights of Women - designed to ensure that all women understand the law and their legal rights.
    • Wish Women's Mental Health Charity - provide long-term advocacy, emotional support and practical guidance at all stages of a woman’s journey through mental health.
    • Fawcett Society - the UK's leading membership charity campaigning for gender equality and women's rights at work, at home and in public life. Our vision is a society in which women and girls in all their diversity are equal and truly free to fulfill their potential creating a stronger, happier, better future for us all.
