Nuccy in your beauty routine and more

Nuccy in your beauty routine and more

This week as Nuccy focuses on skin, I am super happy to partner up with @Wondergreens and share more what different types of food can bring you and why nut butter belongs in your beauty routine !

Nut butters are a great source of healthy fats. It’s important to include these in our daily life for their role in managing balanced hormone levels, and their anti-inflammatory properties. Including sources of healthy fats in your day will support the skin by minimising blemishes and reducing the risk of future ones.

Other sources of healthy fats can be: Avocado, Extra virgin olive oil, Walnuts, Almonds, Flax, chia & hemp seed

Nut butter benefits

@Wondergreens also summarized other types of food to focus on for your skin and what they can bring you:

Antioxidant rich foods - these natural chemicals found in plants help reduce inflammation and boost our body’s defence mechanism. These will help reduce skin inflammation.
Key ingredients:

  • Vit.a - mango, sweet potato, papaya.
  • Vit.c - red peppers, lemon, oranges, kiwi.
  • Selenium - brazil nuts.
  • Beta-carotene - sweet potatoes, pumpkin & carrots.
  • Vit.e - sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds.

Dark leafy greens - you can find a great amount of B vitamins in dark leafy greens. These support healing processes and provide energy to our cells.
